BIOMASS

BLOCKS

• A new technique is developed wherein the morphology of biomass can be altered by
manipulating the bonding between cellulose and lignin at atmospheric pressure and
enabling formation of different forms from any biomass samples consisting of
loose particles.
• A specific proprietary solvent is mixed with biomass sample for manipulating the
bonding

Advantages

•No binder used either organic or inorganic which can cause environment hazards during burning
•No high pressure required as used in pellets manufacturing process, no effect of moisture on the manufacturing process, any type of biomass is compatible with the process
•Any shape and size can be given to the biomass. Can be easily molded to shape like wood as per requirement for cremation
•Energy efficient technology. Very less power requirement and power consumption compared to conventional methods
•Less capital expenditure and hence decentralized models can be implemented
•Solvent used are recycled so low processing operational costs
•No effluents, emissions or pollution during the process of wood formation
